Inout Search Engine - Upgrade to Ultimate Version 8 from Version 5.*, 6, 6.1, 6.2, 7, 7.1
   
 
   If you are currently using version 5.*, 6, 6.1, 6.2, 7, 7.1 of Inout Search Engine and want to upgrade to ultimate version 8 of Inout Search Engine, please follow the instructions given below.

If you have any customizations on the basic Search Engine Script, it may be lost.
So please contact our custom support team before upgradation for detailed instructions.
(**Custom messages as well as theme updations also may be lost**)

1.
   Upload all files to the current search engine installation directory.
2.
   If you are uploading the files into a sub directory of a website, then please configure the RewriteBase of the main .htaccess file and the .htaccess files in admin folder.
3.
   Please reconfigure the files in config folder with the same database information and the new license key.
4.
   Change the access permission of the folders 'xmldata', 'mixedupxmldata', 'starxmldata', 'site_css' to 777 (or writable)
5.
   Set permission to read and write for the file search-plugin.xml
6.
   You may optionally delete the contents in xmldata folder if any data is present.
7.
   Now, to upgrade the script, please go to the following URL in your browser and run it.
